Finding Magic in Puppetry

A few months ago I received an email from Josie Palmarini, a current graduate student at American University, asking if I would like to be interviewed for an article about how my time at AU influenced the progression of my career. That interview was published last week.
I was honored. My passion has always been performance but to speak to current and prospective students about being open and welcoming to opportunities outside of what you feel your path is, was just what I needed to be reminded of.
Although it's been over a year since I've had the opportunity to perform in a show, my name is still attached to projects because I am fortunate enough to be in the right building. I am not only an actor, but a puppeteer, a director, a lighting designer, a sound designer, and a stage manager, all because I was open to the path right in front of me.
Thank you to Josie for reaching out and to those who helped me grow to be at a point in my career where people want to hear my story.
